CopperHouse exists because the way mid-size companies hire contract project managers is broken. The big agencies treat placement like a numbers game; blast out resumes, hope one sticks. The company on the other end just gets volume when what they needed, was judgment.

| We'd rather make one right match than ten fast ones.

So we built the opposite. A small, personally vetted roster. A founder who reads every mandate and every profile. And a promise that when we put someone in front of you, it's because we'd stake our name on the fit.

A boutique built for one good match.

Who’s behind it

CopperHouse was founded by Courtney Wilkinson, a Calgary-based project manager with a proven track record of delivering successful projects. Having worked as a contract PM herself, she's seen the hiring problem from both sides, and it's shaped CopperHouse's thorough, selective process for identifying exactly what separates a good hire from a great one, and what to screen for before a contract ever starts. Companies struggle to find the right person fast; skilled PMs get stuck chasing job boards between contracts. CopperHouse is the fix for both.

How we think about the work

Both sides matter. A placement only works if the company gets the right PM and the PM gets the right mandate. We're not done when a contract is signed. We're done when both sides would work together again.

Vetted means vetted. Every project manager we place walks us through real projects first. We check references. We say no. That's the whole value.
